How can parents instill in their children a desire, a thirst for knowledge? As a recently retired teacher, I have worked with hundreds of high school students who have shown little or no desire to learn about the wondrous world in which they live. My goal is to make this Blog (Parenting Pearls) a repository of specific ideas, from multiple sources, to give parents solid options for raising motivated, well-adjusted, self-confident children.
